No, always use the Ultrasonic Cleaner with water in the tank. Running the device dry may damage it due to the ultrasonic vibration—which may reduce the longevity of the device.

Gently use a cloth to clean and dry the tank. Ensure there is no residual water left in the device to prevent limescale. Don't clean the Ultrasonic Cleaner with corrosive detergent or pointed objects.
